Experience/Skills
Minimum 2 year of software support experience or software development preferably in Java or other object oriented languages.
Preferably in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent industry experience.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and explain related technical issues to a variety of audiences, including enterprise clients and experienced software and service developers.
Experience coding or debugging against Java APIs.
Preferably experience with XML, JMS, WS* and SOA.
Experience using the Eclipse IDE and Maven is beneficial.
Experience working with Java applications in various containers and application servers is a plus (Tomcat, JBoss, Spring, WebSphere, etc.) Integration product support is preferred (but not required).
Other integration vendors include IBM, BEA, Oracle, Tibco, etc.
Knowledge of Open Source business and/or past contributions to open source projects is also favorable.
