Humana Military Healthcare Services is a subsidiary of Humana Inc., one of the nation's largest health insurance companies. As the TRICARE program administrator for the South Region of the United States, Humana Military provides health care benefits for more than 2.7 million of the nation's active duty and their family members, military retirees' and their family members.



To function as a technical leader and primary designer of the HMHS systems architecture which should be designed and implemented for the purpose of supporting the company's objectives in the most effective, efficient, and economical manner. This will include performing, delegating and guiding the following tasks: planning, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation and maintenance according the HMHS Systems Development Life Cycle.

Minimum Requirements




  1. Have a minimum of ten years of information technology experience required.
  2. Bachelor's degree, technical area preferred or technical training equivalent required.
  3. Have significant project management experience required.
  4. Have good oral and written communication skills required.
  5. Be both technically proficient and a good team player required.
  6. SQL Server 2005 or 2008 and Integration Services required.
  7. Desirable skills and experience: System Integration, Disease Management, Case Management, Care Management systems, Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence; Data Warehousing, Data Modeling.

    Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
