We are currently seeking an experienced Applications Developer with 5 to 10 years or more of experience in Web development/programming for a contract to hire opportunity with a large Defense Contractor in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a member on a software development team that develops custom based Web applications for both Government and Commercial clients. Will provide data analysis, applications development, and ensure that the software meets or exceeds the customers' requirements.

Requirements:
Education And Experience:
The candidate must have 10 years relevant experience, OR 8 years relevant experience and an Associates Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 6 years relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 4 years relevant experience and a Masters Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field.

Web Development/Programming Languages:
1. Coldfusion MX
2. PHP
3. JAVA
4. AJAX
5. .NET
6. EXTJS
7. ASP
8. JSON
9. ASP
10. JavaScript
11. SQL

Practical/Analytical Skills:
1. 2 years Web application development experience
2. 1 years SQL experience
3. Experience collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex, interrelated requirements
4. Good written and verbal communications skills
5. Ability to work with minimal assistance to meet project goals/requirements
6. Strong code optimization and modularization skills
7. Experience with programming or working with logistic, scheduling, financial, and/or fleet management data a plus
8. Object Oriented Design experience considered a plus
9. Experience with AJAX/JavaScript libraries considered a plus.df-tc
