Applications Development - Client Server

The primary skills are VB.Net, SSIS and SQL Server. The .NET is the most important requirement. This is a production support position so candidate should be outgoing, able to think outside the box to resolve any issues. They will rotate being on call so it will be about one week a month. The position is thru the end of the year with a great chance of extension. If, in the next six months, the team in India will be able to do the overnight support , these persons will only have to do production support one weekend a month beginning, hopefully, early in 2010.

RDBMS: MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Oracle 8i/9i,10g, MS Access

Database Tools: Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler, DTS, SSIS, SSRS is plus, Toad, Crystal Reports 9.0/10

Programming Languages: SQL, TSQL, PL/SQL , VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, (MS Visiual Studio 2003 and 2005) XML, VB 6.0

Scripts: JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, DHTML.

Protocol : TCP/IP, FTP

Web Tools: IIS, Outlook Express,

Applications: Microsoft Office, Visio, and Visual SourceSafe ( Sorce Control tool )

Operating Systems: Windows NT/00/03/XP

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide Production Support for Default Business applications in a team environent, work on production issues, perform analysis, be able to be on call.
