Description
CDI is currently recruiting for our client a global provider of energy equipment and solutions for the power generation and oil gas industries. This challenging contract opportunity is located in Orlando, FL and is scheduled for 12 months with possible extension. The successful candidate will be a degreed Mechanical Engineer with well rounded knowledge of Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment and their integration into both Simple and Combined Cycle Power Plants.



Description: Knowledgeable in Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment process, design and scope as applicable to simple cycle and combined cycle projects. Job position requires reviewing Request for Quotations (RFQs) from customers, developing comments and exceptions with input from Engineering and other internal organizations, identifying critical project requirements, translating customers requirements into checklist for distribution within the organization to obtain comments to technical specifications and project requirements.



Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years of experience working in the design, proposal or specification of BOP equipment for Combined or Simple Cycle Power Plants
Must be capable of integrating equipment and construction costs into proposals.
Must be proficient in MS Office, experience with SAP would be a plus
Be familiar with plant emissions and acoustic noise reduction
Familiarity with the general cost of various BOP equipment
Understand scope of workdf-tc
