Applications Server Administrator with Linux

Location: Suitland, MD

Duration: 1 year contract (with multiple year long extensions)

Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.

REQUIRED:

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, configuring and supporting applications in the Linux server environment
• Application configuration, deployment and support includes Web and/or application Servers (eg; Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic/Sphere)
• J2EE environment experience
• Server security experience (ssh, PKI)
• Good communication skills, including: the ability to write concisely, the ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audience
• Good organizational skills (ability to manage tasks within and across multiple projects)
• BS/BA degree
• Above average problem solving and analytical skills
