Description
Huntsville based telecom company has an immediate need for an experienced Business Applications Specialist to provide expert IT support to the corporate sales and marketing team. This is a long term contract position- six months plus to start and it could go direct at some point but there is no guarantee. This position will shape processes and implement application design to support new and existing business processes primarily within the sales and marketing organization. 1. Serve as the primary point of contact for business users, super users, and vendors on CRM and PRM related issues 2. Serve as the primary system administrator for our CRM and PRM systems. Perform application management tasks (i.e., usernames, profiles, site administration, data management) for production systems. 3. Assist in the system interface, database logical modeling, and application design process 4. Analyze and implement new capabilities and functionality to streamline existing processes 5. Manage the data quality in all of our sales and marketing databases. This would involve running scripts, updating systems and auditing systems for accuracy. 6. Train business users and maintain the appropriate training documentation on the related business processes 7. Perform a project management role for small to medium sized projects Special Requirements: 1. Experience in database administration and design. 2. Experience working with data entry applications and process flows 3. Must have demonstrated ability to adapt technical solutions to complex business situations and strategies 4. Previous experience with Salesforce.com is a plus 5. Have excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Access).
