Mastech Inc is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. We are currently seeking a AquaLogic Portal Administrator for our client. Duration: 4 months
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA/ Zip Code: 95742
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000/ Annually

Role: AquaLogic Portal Administrator

Role Description: The AquaLogic Portal Administrator would need to have experience implementing the technology infrastructure for Enterprise Application Solutions such as Enterprise Portal, Infrastructure software for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Content Management. This Candidate would have experience working in a UNIX environment.

Responsibilities:

- Must provide Functional Subject Matter expertise.
- Interact with Network, System, and Security Engineers and Application Developers.
- Understanding of N-Tier Application Architecture, AIX, and Linux is a plus.
- Responsible and accountable for Portal and Application Server Infrastructure engineering activities as a member of the Infrastructure and Security team.
- Support of Portal, Content Management, and Application Server Systems.
- Produce detailed documentation containing implementation plan and activities.
- Review client RFP and proposal for compatibility and compliance with established enterprise application architecture, technology, and management standards.

Required Skills:

- Oracle WebCenter Interaction, formerly BEA AquaLogic User Interaction (ALUI) - Portal, Publisher, Studio, and Analytics.
- BEA WebLogic Application Server.
- Covalent Apache Web Server.
- TinyMCE.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with application server administration and support.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise portal administration and support.
- 4+ years of experience with SOA infrastructure administration.
- Strong technical documentation and writing skills.

Desired Skills:

- Oracle Web Center/ Plumtree, ALUI (ALUI Portal Administration and/or ALUI Development), WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Tivoli Identity Manager, WebSeal (Security), Gatewaying, ALUI Publisher, and Portal Security (LDAP) is also important.
- ALUI administration and installation experience is a must.
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering WebSphere is a plus.
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering Middleware, Enterprise Software Solutions is desirable.
- Professional Product Certification (Oracle/ BEA) is helpful.
