As an Assistant Data Operations Manager for this growing company, you will be responsible for ensuring the operations processes in the data center. Duties include monitoring the servers and network for error conditions, dispatching field technicians, assisting with the training of new staff, conducting user acceptance testing of all new software to be added to the system, and other duties as assigned.

The most qualified candidate will possess:
* Specific knowledge of client-server applications, networking and UNIX shell scripting. Knowledge of SQL Server, UNIX and Windows Server O/S are desirable.
* Ability to prioritize tasks: Must be able to juggle several tasks and possess the skill to determine which task is most important.
* Communications: Must be able to communicate task priority to the Operations staff using a mentoring and coaching style.
* Motivational Skills: Must be able to motivate the Operations staff to achieve their goals and if necessary, to take corrective action.
* Possess Customer Service Skills: Must be able to interface comfortably with the customer requests. This work includes responding on a timely basis and in a complete and accurate manner.
* Possess operational skills: Will be responsible for the operation of the data center and all its processes.
