Job Title: Associate Tech (.Net Developer)
Reports to: Senior Associate, Technology
Location: Bethesda, MD (client site), Arlington, VA (Sapient Site)
Employee Status: Full time

Job Summary:
The Associate, Technology is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for maintaining and implementing parts of the application using standard operating procedures and best practices. This will include providing application support, coding, bug fixing, testing, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.

Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide production application support by performing Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) resolution
  • Write .Net code based on requirements defined in use cases.
  • Develop Object Oriented code and/or provide maintenance and enhancements to existing code using .NET
  • Maintain application documentation, operational run books and standard operational procedures (SOP)
  • Provide end user support by working with Help Desk group and help maintain or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications.

    Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government clearance if applicable

    Experience Guidelines
  • Knowledge and Experience in C#, .Net, ASP .Net, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Can code in HTML and JavaScript
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience performing production application support duties
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years in custom software development.
  • Minimum 1 year in .NET development

    Desirable/Ideal Skills
  • Can apply at least one of the .NET 3.0 specific technologies like Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), or Workflow Foundation (WF).
  • Can explain user interface implementations with various controls (like Tabs, Grids, Calendar, File Upload etc.) and can explain various customization techniques (like custom tags).
  • Can create standard ASP.NET pages using proper Master/Client design and uses CSS maximally to standardize look & feel
  • Microsoft Office SharePoint experience
  • Microsoft CRM Dynamics experience
  • Lombardi Teamworks experience

    Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required from a college or university
