Job Title: Associate, Program Management
Reports to: Sr. Manager of Program Management
Location: Bethesda, MD and Arlington, VA
Employee Status: Regular, full-time

Job Summary:
This is an entry level position in the program management domain and the functions of this position is to provide support in project tracking and reporting at a project level.


Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current architecture, policies, and standards and provide recommendations based on industry best practices
  • Work with all users, including end users, site administrators, and managers to get feedback on current operations and requirements for new features, with little oversight from management
  • Provides project management support to project/program leadership by helping to manage issues, tars, and re-planning efforts (opportunities to lead small projects or tracks within a larger project will happen to demonstrate readiness for the next career stage)
  • Responsible for putting together client communications, such as status reports.
  • Performs analysis for requirements planning, business process reengineering, etc. efforts
  • Assists proposal creation efforts, documents and facilitates gathering and use of project best practices across the PM Domain
  • Supports client workshops and checkpoints
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
  • Work closely with technical project leadership to plan, develop, and deliver system modernization, enhancement, and operations and maintenance capabilities
  • Review, document and assess client operations


    Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University

    Experience Guidelines:
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience; consulting experience is a plus
  • Strong problem identification and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create and deliver clear, powerful and concise presentations/proposals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals
  • Has experience with and able to leverage automated tools such as DOORS, Requisite Pro, etc to manage requirements


    Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University
