Required Skills:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. 3 - 5 years working with an enterprise systems management framework including BMC Patrol and BMC Performance Manager products.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge and experience with integrating BMC software with third party monitoring and management applications such as Remedy Service Desk, and Telalert Automated Messaging System would be very beneficial. Systems Administration experience with one or more of the following platforms is preferred: Sun Solaris, MS Windows (2000, 2003), Oracle, MS/SQL. Scripting and programming languages (Perl, Korn Shell, Vbasic, Java and Javascript).

Provide technical design, engineering and implementation of an enterprise systems monitoring solution using the BMC Performance Manager suite including BMC Performance Manager Portal, BMC Patrol, and BMC Event Manager. This includes working closely with IT support personnel including the NetworkOperationsCenter, as well as various customer points of contact to ensure monitoring requirements are understood and documented and solutions are properly developed, tested and implemented.
Engage vendor(s) as necessary to troubleshoot and correct system defects. Transition of monitoring of current Clients Network Operations Center (NOC) customers from a NOC Clocated in San Diego, CA, to a new Network
Operations enter in Little Rock, AR. The primary work location will be
Little Rock but some limited amount of travel may be necessary.df-tc
