Berean Group is seeking a BMC Systems Engineer

Position Description:

Candidate will provide technical design,engineering,and implementation of: An Enterprise Systems Monitoring solution..
To provide this solution, candidate will use BMC Performance Manager suite of of tools including:
-BMC Performance Manager Portal
-BMC Patrol
-BMC Event Manager
This includes working closely with IT support personnel including the Network Operation Center as other points of contact to ensure monitoring is understood and documented,tested and implemented..

Skills Needed:

Experience integrating BMC software with 3rd party monitoring and managment applications such as
RemedyService Desk and Telalert Automated Messaging System is highly preferred..
Systems Administration experience with 1 or more of the following
platforms is preferred:
-Sun Solaris
-MSWindows (2)
-Oracle,
-MS /SQL
Scripting and programming languages
(Perl,Korn, Shell, V-Basic,Java and Java Script
-Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field
-3-5 years working with an Enterprise Sytems Management framework including BMC patrol and BMC Performance Manager products..

Location : Little Rock Arkansas
Note:Some travel to and from San Diego from Ark.
(on a limited basis) may be involved.
Duration: 3 Months
Start Date: 1/21/08
