Description
We have the perfect part-time, contract opportunity available for a Business Objects Report Developer/Universe Designer! This position is located in N. downtown Dallas and requires a 3 day work week; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The potential to move into a 40 hour work week may develop based on the workload.

REQUIRED:
-Minimum 5 years experience with Business Objects 6.5.1 or later.
-Business Objects experience in both universe and report development.
-Experience with complex report development. (Complex is defined as having 5 or more data providers in a single report).
-Development experience with Business Objects on an Oracle database of at least 1 Terabyte in size.
-Creation of large complex universes.
-Experience with a large number of fact / dimension tables, db sizing and universe fact compatibility.
-Aggregate awareness.
-Fan vs. Chasm traps including resolution and why / where they can occur.
-Use of Context vs. Alias.
-Complex object creation.
-Elaboration of tough issue and resolution path.
-Creation of complex reports with multiple tabs and data providers.
-Filter vs. condition.
-Variable vs. function.
-Complex report example.
