CCCi has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Analyst with our Large Energy customer in Cincinnati, OH and Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will manage, configure and support software and patch distribution projects. The role requires the right combination of technical and interpersonal skills to contribute to a growing team, in high demand, to leverage BMC's Configuration Management Suite (formally known as Marimba) and Blade Logic, a set of powerful configuration management tools. As a member of the Energy s Enterprise Configuration Management Team, the IT Specialist will manage, configure, tune, report and create solutions to deliver software and patches to workstations and Servers in a documented, consistent, and repeatable format. Candidate must have solid functional knowledge of, and experience with, BMC's Configuration Management suite. A good foundational background in server architecture, server configuration and Workstation and Server patch management is required. He/she will innovate, create, test and communicate software and patch distribution packages to both Test and Production environments. Candidate will create, distribute, verify and support the distribution of software and patches using BMC Configuration Management Tool. Will proactively tune, configure and provide creative solutions to fully leverage BMC's Configuration Management Tool. Investigate and formulate proposals pertaining to complementary tools. Also, candidate will test and document software and patch distribution test results, provide status to Manager and integrative teams and lead the resolution of package and patch related defects. Duties include resolving assigned Help Desk tickets.
Required skills: 2-5 years experience using BMC Configuration Management tool (Marimba) or similar software distribution tools. 1-5 years experience using BladeLogic; ability to meet Service Level Agreements, present and communicate results with an emphasis on customer service; able to present technical information in a non-technical manner, multi-task, set priorities and meet project deadlines; excellent analytical skills; ability to coordinate integrated project activities; and application packaging and MSI files, WISE Packaging Studio, Scripting tools such as ADSI, VBScript, batch and Marimba. Blade Logic is the most important required skill.
