Our client is seeking a full time Budget and Contract Analyst. In this role, you will report to the Business Manager to coordinate subcontractor contract requirements and budget activity.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing contract documents for budget and performance compliance
Preparing financial reports and budgets
Performing budget analysis
Preparing cost proposals
Procuring goods and services
Reviewing account coding
Preparing project schedules
Providing general assistance as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years experience
Experience working with FAR required
Demonstrated experience working with government contracts and subcontracts.
Knowledge of accounting concepts cost estimating and scheduling techniques, procurement requirements and general office procedures.
Accounting and contracting certifications preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with accounting and contracting computer systems
Computer and data processing skills including demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in performing statistical analysis
Initiative, attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities
