Description
Agile1 seeks an experienced Build Engineer. This full time position has an attractive compensation package including full benefits. H1B's may apply if you meet the stated job requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to manage the merging, building and deployment of code to multiple environments.
Build includes both classic ASP and ASP.net on one site and has a separate application tier.
Windows, windows applications and Access applications are supported.
Access in particular has its own set of code versioning and deployment challenges - experience in this area is strongly preferred.
Build Engineer will need to perform a baseless merge of completely separate code branches when required using TFS source control.
Knowledge of windows scripting and experience with tools that assist with deployment, and would be required to perform a smoke test of deployed code using a standard set of functionality to ensure that code is in reasonable state after deployment.
Collaborate with Production on paperwork and other preparations associated with production deployments and may be called upon to execute the actual deployment.
Ideal candidate would also be familiar with TFS to take on a support position and solve problems related to the TFS application and perform ongoing maintenance activities.
Experience with Continuous Integration is a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years Visual Studio/.Net experience (VB and C#)
7+ years working with classic ASP, IIS, and windows scripting, batch files and VB scripting.
2+ years experience working with TFS.
4+ years experience with build automation tools like MS Build or Install shield and WinSCP.
Experience with certificates preferred.
