Business Analyst/Architect - Healthcare

Enclipse is seeking a Business Analyst/Architect with experience working with health informatics requirements and/or clinical research data design requirements. This is for a 3 month contract with our client in Silver Spring, MD. This will most likely be extended.

This position is for a Business Architect. They need to be able to field questions about data errors and investigate where the errors are coming from and understand how the data flows. They are not looking at how it is coded, but need to know how the content of it works. Your resume needs to show that you have the business analyst and business architecture experience. Systems architect is a bonus.

Key qualifications include the following:
1) Competency in data warehousing principles and design with experience gathering requirements for data management projects.
2) Experience working with clinical staff (eg clinical providers, physicians, research associates, principal investigators, HIMMS coders, business data analysts, medical chiefs);
3) Understanding of data generated through health information systems (either a familiarity in a range of clinical health systems such as Electronic Medical Records, Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology systems or a competency in at least one of the aforementioned clinical health systems); and
4) Experience gathering information and requirements in both face-to-face settings as well as virtual-meeting environments.

Desired Skills:
1) Background in SQL development/design
2) Experience working with informatics reporting tools: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Cognos, SAS
3) Technical Experience/Training in Data Warehousing (prior DBA, ETL developer)
4) Medical or Clinical Research background
