Purpose of the role
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst with excellent communication and documentation skills to work with our business and technology stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements for our project. The BA will have the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff including ability to convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form. The BA will work closely with the appropriate business and technology partners in anticipating, understanding, validating, coordinating, documenting, and implementing all aspects of their systems needs. The BA will need to elicit, document, and manage business requirements and rules, which may include writing use cases and other requirement documents. The BA will work closely with the other information services technical staff to ensure that developed functionality meets requirements. The BA will conduct requirements reviews with key stakeholders and when necessary assume the responsibilities of project manager in facilitating and documentation of meetings and status updates. The BA will follow established PDLC processes, have good fundamental knowledge of project management practices and have strong problem solving and resolutions skills.
