Skills Required - Business Systems Analyst, BA, Business Analyst, BSA, Technology Liaison, Software BA, Technical Business Analyst,Business AnalystIf you are a Business Analyst with Claims Management experience, please read on!What you need for this position:- Bachelors' or higher degree with 2-4 years software Business Analyst experience.- Focus on the customer's best interest and needs. - Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with the customer.- Effectively negotiate with both the customer and internal team members.- Understand the entire SDLC and have experienced all facets except development.- Solve problems analytically using both qualitative and quantitative information - strategically identify and address problems- examine issues from a cross functional perspective in the decision making process; - operate in Real Time scenarios and quickly identify logical loopholes and/or think through problems that may arise.- Improve business processes and drive creative and effective solutions to gain efficiencies for both the customer and our internal processes.- Utilize basic project management concepts such as planning, scheduling, scope control, and risk management with both internal and client project teams.- Deliver presentations and training to groups of 10 or more in a formal environment.- Understand system testing methodologies.- Be self-motivated and proactive in creating personal direction and initiative in a less structured and fast-paced environment. - Grasp the insurance industry terminology and business processes of our customers in a short timeframe.- Multi-task to handle changing priorities and multiple customer projects concurrently.What you'll be doing:- Conduct requirements interviews with customers both on-site and remotely.- Solicit the customer's existing business processes and assist the customer in defining improved business solutions based on the application functionality.- Analyze customer business requirements and assess their necessity and feasibility based on business, technical and contractual constraints.- Prepare extensive detailed documentation of the business solution, rules and software requirements (functional and technical specifications) to meet the customer's business needs.- Support the technical team during the development cycle.- Support QA in the creation of test plans and scripts.
