Description
The Business Analyst III analyzes business problems and documents business requirements for multiple business functions. He/she understands the customer’s business and manages relationships with key customers. The Business Analyst III participates in and leads components of system delivery and assures user acceptance. The Business Analyst III works closely with other groups to assure the total solution delivered to the customer meets/exceeds expectations.
Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers.
Directs the analysis and documentation of business requirements for multiple business areas.
Creates and reviews functional requirements specifications.
Plans and manages multiple small to medium-sized projects.
Guides business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis.
Works closely and communicates effectively with business customers, other IT groups, management, and external vendors to implement business and/or system solutions addressing specific needs of a business area or process.
Participates in and leads components of the delivery of system solutions (e.g. configuration, testing, deployment, validation).
Assures end user acceptance.
Works with customers to properly train end-users on new system deployments.
Leads the identification assessment and resolution of complex issues and escalates them appropriately.
Leverages deep understanding of customers’ business to proactively identify and prioritize opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.
Reviews, remains current with, and actively shares emerging industry standards in responsibility area.
Supports production and development environments and provides on call support after business hours as needed.
Bachelors Degree with five years IT experience in areas such as gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes or High School with nine years which includes five years IT and four years work experience in any business related field.
Experience with all phases of application development (e.g. requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, testing, conversion and application support)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Business Analyst III, SAP
Extensive SAP application development experience within area of specialization (e.g. Finance, Logistics, Human Resources), including hands-on configuration
Strong business knowledge within area of specialization
Knowledge of SAP data dictionary and development framework
Experience developing functional specifications for interfaces, conversions, reports, SAP extensions and forms

Business Analyst III, CRM
Extensive Siebel application development experience including hands-on configuration and scripting
Experience developing architecture and functional design documents
Extensive knowledge of and exposure to Siebel Objects and flow - Contact Mgmt., Account Mgmt. and Order Mgmt.
Knowledge of Siebel Workflow, Siebel eAI.
Application programming experience
Experience with databases and SQL

Business Analyst III, Commercial Systems
Sales, Marketing, or Medical Affairs systems development and pharmaceutical industry knowledge
Proficiency with managing customer relationships at various organizational levels
Exposure to Commercial Systems technologies (e.g. Siebel, Sample Guardian, Cognos and other business intelligence tools)
Exposure to relational databases and SQL

Business Analyst III, CTM/CDM/Safety
Clinical development and pharmaceutical industry knowledge
Exposure to Business Intelligence tools
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Exposure to systems validation processes
Application development experience including hands-on configuration
****2 years experience within pharmaeutical industry mandatory****
Experience with validated systems

Business Analyst III, Documentum
Significant Documentum, Input Accel and Core Dossier experience.
In depth understanding of lifecycle management of the regulated documents in the pharmaceutical industry
In depth experience with document management workflows and lifecycles
Experience with databases and DQL
Significant experience with computer systems validation process

Salary: 92K + 10% Bonus
