We have an immediate need for a Business Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CDI Business Solutions currently has an immediate long term contract need for a Business Analyst onsite for our client in Brooklyn, NY.

The Business Analyst will work with the Subject Matter Experts to simplify and document business processes.
Perform business analysis, requirements gathering, traceability and use case development to inform configuration of the system for the implementation.

Document all work flow processes and related business rules
Collect and annotate all related forms, letters and notifications
Identify and document all report requirements
Identify and document all necessary data elements and categorize by data source
Identify functionality gaps
Document functional and technical specifications for application/software design
Provide support to technical and quality assurance staff for requirements clarifications
Provide administrative support to project work stream

Candidates must be able to utilize the full Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS-Excel, Visio, and Project.
Experience in writing use cases and documenting detailed specifications
Demonstrated ability to maintain close customer interaction
Demonstrated ability to document requirements that lead to customized applications
Demonstrated ability to understand a typical systems development life cycle
