Description

A Global Financial Institution located in New York City hasan immediate long-term contract opportunity for experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager for Technology Governance Team.

Must have technical organization experience at large financial organizations. The person in this role will gather, analyze and synthesize disparate information/data into succinct reports and presentations for senior management. This is the person who is creating and putting together the reports and presentations (not required to make the actual presentations).

GeneralQualifications:

We are looking for a contract employee to join the Architecture team. The team is generally responsible for Architecture standards and processes across all Lines of Business. The position will require sharp technology expertise, familiarity with a wide range of technologies, and experience and expertise in Best Practices around architecture processes and governance.

The ideal candidates will possess 8-10 years of experience in a consultative or permanent staff role with one or more major organizations in the Financial Services Industry.

Candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as experience with Senior Management level reporting.

Tangible skills will include hands-on experience in the development or development management of financial applications.

Experience with a broad array of technologies in the data, presentation and operating systems levels will be required for the candidate to be successful.

Candidate will possess a high level of expertise business facing processes such as financial reporting, benchmarking, program tracking and business analytics.

Candidate c ould come froma centralized, strategic architecture group at another Wall Street firm or alarge consulting firm with large financial companies as clients.

Must have a very broad technical, architecture knowledge from infrastructure to development environments. This group takes part in individual architecture review meetings andadvises on the strategic use of various technical components in the company Tech landscape.
