Description

Leading international corporation seeking Business Analyst/QA Analyst for their small projects team.

The candidate will be responsible for partnering with customers to analyze business needs, translate business needs into requirements, obtain signoff from customers, work with maintenance development team through development process (SDLC waterfall and Agile), testing solutions. In addition the individual will be responsible for operating current systems through month end, quarter end, yearend processes, analysis of jobs, scheduling jobs, troubleshooting technical problems and resolving issues in order to meet the needs of the business. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed technical documentation, workflows and may assist with project management, data analysis and overall technical operations of core business systems. The individual may be asked to act as a backup to perform business analysis and documentation to assist security, compliance and risk needs of the organization.

REQUIRED:

  • MUST HAVE STRONG SQL SCRIPTING SKILLS
  • 2 year degree computer science or technology related field or 5 years experience
  • 2-4 years minimum experience as Business Analyst
  • Detailed knowledge of insurance administration of inforce, transaction and other files
  • Ability to provide technical documentation to define technical processes, diagrams, etc
  • Mid-High level knowledge of Queries in Oracle, SQL, MS Access and Excel
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write, edit, maintain, and execute queries in databases
  • Ability to analyze, balance (count and amount), load, extract data
  • Ability to troubleshoot differences with independent files through existing processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical operations, understand system workflows, resolve
  • Ability to provide technical documentation to define technical processes, diagrams, etc
  • Ability to thoroughly document business requirements and design documentation for maintenance and small project requests.
  • Ability to document QA and test plans, execute QA and test plans, and document QA and test results. Candidate must be flexible to conduct manual testing and use automated test tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service oriented.
