Description:
Position is a business analyst role within the Human Resource Technology team focusing on recruiting systems. Role focus is on capturing and converting business requirements into executable functional requirements. Position requires ability to face-off to a diverse base of users groups to elicit and assess requirements and manage expectations as to what is achievable within realistic timeframes. Position will also face-off to the Technical Team, acting as advocate for the various user groups.
Business Analyst will assist in project development lifecycle including: requirements, analysis and design, testing, user training, deployment planning and support model.
Requirements - produce business requirements to be met. Will require facing off to global, multiple business line organization. Possess ability to synthesize user requirements, break them into logical phases and identify key dependencies required for success (eg business processes and standards).
Functional Design assist project team with functional designs which meet the business requirements.
Develop and continuously optimize BA/Functional Design Techniques - to develop and optimize processes to facilitate requirements gathering and design to increase efficiency and shorten cycle times.
Testing assist in the creation of system and user acceptance test plans as well as executing the plans or coordinating their execution.
Training - Coordination and support of training program work with business areas and training department to develop and deploy multi-channel training as needed. May involve contribution of and QA of content.
Support - Assist in the investigation and resolution of day-to-day production support requests for existing applications.
Skills Required:
Experience with different requirements gathering techniques (eg gap analyses), writing/executing test plans. Candidate should have experience with all Microsoft Office applications (including Visio and Project).
Skills Desired:
Experience with recruiting systems, talent management applications, Business Objects, and PeopleSoft is a plus.
