Description
Quantronix is looking for Business Analyst for Fixed Income Trading Systems to work at our client's site. Our client is a very large investment firm handling over $500 billion assets. The Business Analyst will be an essential member of the Fixed Income systems team providing much needed analysis and user support. The responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, development of functional specifications, and working with developers to implement solutions for Fixed Income investment business. The role requires attention to detail, strong problem solving and analytical skills, strong inter-personal skills, written communication skills, and self-motivation. Previous experience supporting Fixed Income investments and/or Fixed Income traders is required. More specifically, the Business Analyst will be responsible for elicitation and documentation of requirements related to new features of the Fixed Income Trading system. Day-to-day duties will entail meeting with traders and documenting requirements using the Rational methodology (Rational Unified Process) for use case documentation. In addition, the Business Analyst will be expected to work closely with the systems developers to develop screen layouts. The Business Analyst will play a leading role in presenting and reviewing the screen layouts/mock-ups with the traders. The desired Business Analyst is one who has proven experience communicating requirements to the development team, clarifying the requirements as requested, and assisting with the testing of the system upon completion. This important resource will report directly to the Fixed Income/Currency Trading Systems Analysis team leader. Daily Activities: Working with the project manager, business analysts, and systems teams analyze scope of project and prepare detailed functional specifications, test plans and test cases.

Requirements:

* Minumum 7 years experience in Business Analysis (Business Requirements, Functional specifications development experience). * Minumum 4 years experience in Fixed Income business support. * Minumum 2 years experience in Fixed Income analytics. * Minumum 1 years experience RUP & UML. Education/Experience: * A bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment industry are required.df-tc
