Job description: Job Description:We are seeking a Business Analyst skilled in COBOL. Candidate will be required to perform the following:-Analyze auto problem tickets for states assigned, -manually re-rate policies as needed for further analysis, -provide analysis and specifications to BSA's for remediation, -perform RP/AP (Return Premium/Applied Premium) Recovery, -Write COBOL scan programs to extract policies for a recovery, -Perform COBOL (online and batch) program changes, -Perform DB2 Table lookup, -Trace program logic, Test program fixes, -Identify open tickets that can be combined as Nationwide tickets. A Nationwide ticket means the problem affects multiple states, -Re-create the problem using IT/FV PAA or SRS Validate the existence of the problem in Production PAA, -Update problem ticket via Lotus Notes databaseProject description: -Member of the IBM transition team working on an outsourced Personal Auto project in Novato, California, to help in the reduction of problem tickets by states on the Prestige Auto Application (online) and the batch system.
