Description
AT&T Government Solutions is hiring for 35 positions in support of a series of contract delivery orders awarded by the US Department of Agriculture's National Information Technology Center (NTIC) in Kansas City. 

This center manages Applications Development Services, Contingency Services, Disaster Recovery, Migrations and Consolidation, Storage, Security and Telecommunications services for USDA activates across the United States.  The work will start immediately.

Job Details
Responsible for analyzing the needs of the business to help identify business problems and propose solutions. The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business side of an enterprise and the developers of the services to the enterprise. Interacts with customers and company staff to creatively solve business problems and issues. Works cooperatively with technical staff and performs a variety of development support functions including testing, documentation, training material development, project tracking and project reporting. Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives as well as the role and function of team members.

Experience Requirements:
• minimum of three (3) years of experience
• experience creating business requirements
• experience creating functional requirements
• experience creating report specifications
• experience documenting business domain details
• performing testing and validation
• experience in writing user acceptance tests
• experience performing walkthroughs of business models
• excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• experience translating business requirements into technical requirements
• experience making recommendations for improvements to the business community
• experience in Lean Six Sigma is desirable

Additional Desired Capabilities:
Testing capabilities –
• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans
• Execute test scripts
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Validate product fixes

Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science or other related discipline.
