Description
This position requires the candidate to become a functional expert in the areas of FI/CO including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Month-end Close, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting (PCA, COPA, BW) Internal Orders, Special Ledger and key interface points of other modules with Finance. The activities include (but are not limited to):

Testing - provide system quality assurance by developing test scripts and test scenarios; perform testing to support roll-outs, hot packs, enhancements and fixes

Training - develop training documentation; deliver training classes and user workshopsFront Line Support - monitor the problem queue; work with users to solve "live" problems and issue bulletins and advisements to prevent recurring problems

Process Management - work with the business and other IS teams to bring closure to identified gaps in the current template using the Project methodology and toolsProcess Improvement - work with the Finance Business Process Sponsors to align IS opportunities with key initiatives; develop best practice and standardized processes where applicable; leverage IS to enable cost savings and revenue enhancement

Experience/Skills
* 3-6 years of functional SAP experience in FI/CO (some or all areas noted above). * Proven ability to perform business requirements analysis; set-up test scenarios and record results; develop and deliver training; work independently and manage priorities * Ability to facilitate change management and use project management methodologies * Strong background in finance with experience in large (preferably global) manufacturing organizations. * Ability to work with all levels of business, from plant accountants to Vice Presidents. * Experience with all/some of following tools preferred: InfoPak, Mercury ITG, Remedy, Test Director, BDL and other standard SAC software* 30% travel Strong analytical skills to help identify and fill potential gaps in training materials.Self-Motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
