Provides functional and technical in-depth functional analyses in support of project scope and objectives. Applies analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and projects regarding, but not limited to, operations, intelligence, logistics, exercise, personnel, medical, training, plans, and requirements deployment. The candidate regularly works under deadlines and is capable of handling extreme workloads. Acts independently, with only general direction. This candidate regularly provide guidance to and assist in training with less experienced personnel.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform analysis, planning, establishment of requirements, functional modeling, development of procedures, development of functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.

Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.

Performs allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.

Analyzes problem in terms of information and conceptualizes and defines problem and formulates solutions.

Prepares reports to management defining problem, evaluation, and possible solution.

Interfaces with other departments (such as the software development department) in representing the customer in the course of conducting interoperability assessments and implementation of interoperability and supportability procedures.

Operates independently and react rapidly in a complex organizational environment with daily customer interchange and multi-faceted tasking while providing insights and independent thought and advice on interoperability areas.

Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and compiles information into recommendations/analyses and participates in marketing presentations where application requires technical expert.

May conduct research for, or write portions of technical proposals.

Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.

Will be responsible for instructing, directing and monitoring the work of assigned personnel.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or 3-5 yrs related experience in software development.

High level of experience with Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, & Visio.

Strong understanding of SDLC as well as Project Management and Project Life Cycle.

Experience performing technical & functional writing.

Must understand functional design requirements, data design and data definition documentation.

Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written.
