Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Terms: Contract to Hire

Start Date: ASAP

• To assist in the development of various applications both homegrown as well as customized 3rd party vendor applications.

Job Duties:

• Engage in application design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Use UML and Use Cases to translate business requirements.
• Develop gap analysis between proposed and existing application functionality.
• Act as liaison between technical and functional users as part of the application design/re-engineering process.
• Other duties as assigned.

• (2) to (5) years of IT related experience preferably with the most recent (1) to (2) years as a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and moved into a Business Analyst role over the past few years.
• Strong background in all phases of the SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master Degree is preferred.)
• A self starter that can take initiative on a project and function as a project manager when necessary.
• The ideal candidate will have worked for a retail company.
