Business Analysts (Financial Accounting Systems)

A growing and stable company in the Phoenix, Arizona Metropolitan area is looking for Business Analysts with a financial System background.

The Business Analyst will work and be a liaison with the company's corporate accounting teams and IT as well as the business in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and processes. He or she may also prepare reports or presentations to communicate the findings.

Primary responsibilities involve overseeing the integrity of payables projects and issues ensuring accurate and timely completion. This includes reviewing, analysing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, documenting procedures, and defining scope and objectives. It will also involve updating department personnel of progress, measuring deliverables, aiding in training process, documentation manuals, and coordinating testing.

This Analyst will assist in the implementation of new system designs, help with system testing for upgrades, and also analyze accounts payable processes and procedures looking for ways to enhance efficiency. Required Skills:
An ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a project from inception to implementation. A top candidate would also have financial systems implementation experience. Experience with Oracle Financials, JD Edwards, SAP, Hyperion, Peoplesoft or any other Financial Systems is highly desired. Experience leading and/or managing training sessions is a plus. Project documentation and scoping is desired. Project Management experience is a big plus.
