Assignment Capsule
As a consultant for business improvement you will: lead and educate associates to help optimize service and operational metrics, evaluating existing issue resolution processes, applications and tools, and collaborating with multiple departments to continuously strive for excellence.

  • Partner with operations, subject matter experts, training, workforce management and call quality teams to develop and deploy continuous improvement initiatives across service centers
  • Evaluate and ensure the adequate performance of key associates in the Finance, Information Systems and Custom Contracts departments
  • Initiate and facilitate meetings with sales managers and client representatives to identify and document pertinent group trends
  • Cultivate relationships with the client, sales office personnel, agents, brokers and consultants throughout the implementation process

Role Essentials
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
  • Prior longevity in a claims processing and/or billing and enrollment environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of grievance and appeals processes, compliance and regulatory issues and customer service standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Claims Administration System and the Inquiry Control System


Role Desirables
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Prior experience with group implementation and/or project management experience
  • Prior demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Six Sigma certification


Reporting Relationships
  • You will report to a department manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
