Integrated Clinical Guidance Systems - Business Consultant

As a business consultant for Clinical Guidance Systems you will: lead and educate associates to help optimize service and operational metrics, evaluating existing issue resolution processes, applications and tools, and collaborating with multiple departments to continuously strive for excellence.

  • Partner with Information Technology, subject matter experts, to develop and deploy Clinical Guidance Systems for our clients
  • Initiate and facilitate meetings between the business and IT to identify modifications and improvements for the System
  • Cultivate relationships with the client, sales office personnel, agents, brokers, and consultants throughout the implementation process

    Specific Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for the creation of requirements documentation that satisfy the business need
  • Responsibility to ensure the technical design of the solution is true to the vision laid out for Humana's clinical application
  • Ability to manage several low to mid-level complexity projects simultaneously and with little supervision
  • Ability to manage projects at different stages of the development and pre-development project cycles simultaneously

    Role Essentials:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, business, health care or information systems required or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio

    Role Desirables
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Prior group implementation and/or project management experiencedf-tc
