Description
Responsible for building and writing procedures in Oracle necessary to support RS Operations. Ability to write basic SQL statements for storing, retrieving and manipulating data in a relational database.



Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Access databases to streamline production and enhance reporting.



Will be required to meet with end-users to discuss projects requiring the extraction or manipulation of data stored in organization databases or mainframe systems. Clarifies and confirms the specifications. Offers additional suggestions or alternatives to assist the end-user or client in obtaining data in the most expedient time frame. Ensures consensus with the end-user on necessary specifications.



Analyze current production measures to build comprehensive models for performance standards and incentive reporting.



Develop, test and write moderate to difficult complex application programs, queries or profiles according to the specifications as required. Codes and changes programs as necessary. Modifies existing programs as necessary to meet the needs of the end-user, will modify existing programs as necessary.



Participates in and/or leads a variety of team projects primarily focused on enhancing processes and improving measurement tools. Will be expected to make recommendations to enhance current processes and reports.



As appropriate, will develop other internal programs to assist in daily workflow management of mainframe files via SAS.



Will support current MIS team by running daily, weekly and monthly reports as necessary.

Experience/Skills
? Bachelor's degree or an equivalent education and work experience in computer application development.
? Two years Oracle/Visual Basic/Microsoft Access database development required
? Proven ability to enhance processes to achieve efficiencies.
? Experience with SAS, Symposium, Crystal Reporting, and eWorkforce Management are preferred.
? Ability to actively listen, interview and apply information from meetings to complete tasks.
? Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
? Good written and verbal communication skills.
