Job Title: Business Objects Developer Salary/Rate: 80-115K + bonus Location: Redwood City, CA
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3 + years experience developer with Business Objects XI, Crystal Reports, Web intelligence & Full client (Deski) 2 + years developer with Business Objects Designer 2 + years leveraging Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata 2 + years demonstrated experience with formal data warehousing architectures and meta data management is required. Experience with portals such as SAP Portal, J2EE, and SAP XI is desired. Experience with other reporting tools such as Hyperion, Cognos, Microstrategy, etc. a plus
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work directly with functional analysts and project members to develop new Datawarehouse functionality from business specifications by modelling, designing, developing, testing and implementing the appropriate Back End structures (including Info sources, ODSs, and Info Cubes) needed to meet business requirements.
Will create, modify, and maintain development objects related to the reporting framework. New application development and maintenance as required.
Responsible for all aspects of maintenance including system modifications, software upgrades, version control, quality assurance coordination, performance tuning, etc.
