Job Description

This is a seasoned, experienced individual contributor role in an internal consulting organization who interacts with Senior Executives, Directors, subject experts throughout the organization to build, assemble, deliver an Enterprise Business Blueprint. This Blueprint consists of enterprise business processes, performance/operational metrics, enabling technology solutions. These artifacts will be used for analysis of strategic and operational value assessments.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The Business Process Architect will lead definition of the enterprise business architecture consisting of cross-functional business processes.
* Organize and conduct work sessions to capture and validate enterprise blueprint artifacts
* Decompose cross functional business processes into multiple lower level sub-processes.
* Map business processes to technology solutions
* Recommend, design, select tools for storage and management of business process artifacts
* Leads pilots projects using artifacts for strategic and operational improvement

Experience/Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
Industry Experience:
* Minimum 8 years in a business architect role performing a combination of business process architecture definition and business process modeling.
* Minimum of 5 years process architect in a large-scale multi-billion dollar corporate environment.
* Deep process expertise in two or more cross functional processes of Customer Experience, Plan-to-Operate, Concept-to-Develop, Acquisition-to-Obsolescence, Insight-to-Strategy

Technical Skills:
* Experience developing multiple enterprise business architectures at multiple companies
* Experience defining and modeling two or more cross functional processes of Customer Experience, Plan-to-Operate, Concept-to-Develop, Acquisition-to-Obsolescence, Insight-to-Strategy
* Demonstrated experience in multiple cross functional business process improvements projects involving process definition and work change methods
* Demonstrated modeling expertise in multiple cross functional business process definition/modeling projects
* Demonstrated experience de-composing enterprise cross functional business processes to sub-processes to activities with associated metrics and measures
* Experience illustrating processes using industry standard formats and tools
* Solid understanding and application of BMPN
* Technology architecture experience a plus

Interpersonal Skills:
* Minimum of 8 years leading architecture definitions for business process reengineering projects, business improvement projects, business analysis projects.
* Demonstrated ability leading cross departmental architecture projects and teams
* Experience leading directors, managers, and experts in process discovery and definition sessions
* Ability to self-start, work with minimal supervision
