We are looking for a Business Process and Procedure Lead to assist our client in the improvement of the Business Processes

Terms: Local to Austin area

Tax Terms: W2

The Lead will define methodologies, procedures and methods to establish and maintain information contained in business requirements and computer systems. He or she will takes lead role in ensuring completion of processes and procedures across all departments; and will collaborate with other departments on special projects to support the development of processes and operations through effective use of industry standard process tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
. Map current business processes to provide a foundation for defining business activities. Use business process maps to develop procedures, models, and operational processes.
. Design methods for systematically capturing and storing that information on business processes in a logical and retrievable fashion.
. Provide training and orientation for department staff in the use of business processes.
. Respond to external project inquiries for information to clarify the information request
. Serve as a liaison between various groups to develop process and procedures that facilitate the implementation of system modules, models and or enhancements. Must be able to work with market experts, technical and non-technical staff, inter and intra- department personnel, and a variety of vendors.
. Develop and maintain procedures for demonstrating business and system functionality .
. Participate in related systems and functional development efforts as needed to provide input and contribute to a comprehensive program strategy. Participation typically involves attending meetings and providing a contribution from the perspective of cross-departmental functions.
. Create reports to support quality control and to provide management information on progress and risks.

Experience/Skills
Education and Experience Required
. Bachelor's degree in specific business function or related field and three (or more) years experience in progressively responsible experience in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, and procedure development.
. An equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience is acceptable.
. Experience using Windows-based applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
. Proven experience developing systematic and manual operations procedures.

Knowledge and Skills Required
. Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
. Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information; and make recommendations based on analysis.
. Proven collaborative skills in reaching a team approach to accomplishing work.
. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
. Preferred knowledge and experience with six-sigma processes
. Proven ability to work in a customer service oriented organization
