Job Description/Responsibilities:



Seeking a strong reporting analyst to support reporting and analysis of an exciting network of online content.
This person with create reports that will help drive key business initiatives and recommend strategies based on synthesis of customer behavior and product usage trends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for unlocking potential customer value through rigorous analysis, familiarity with reporting methodology and tools, and previous exposure to various marketing and/or CRM business practices (e.g. online marketing, subscription marketing, database marketing, performance analysis, and lifetime value).

Production and analysis of reports, including identification of trends that support premium product business decisions

Interface with multiple teams for data reconciliation and validation (e.g. Accounting, Operations, QA, and Engineering)

Support & analysis of product and web traffic results

*


Supports definition of future requirements in Subscription Management system/Data Warehouse and other source data systems

*


Executes queries to provide consolidated reports from multiple data sources

*


Works closely with programmer analyst to modify/enhance financial & product reporting





Top Skills:



Bachelors degree or higher. 3-5 years reporting/analytic experience supporting marketing, CRM and/or ecommerce based teams.



SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED




Bachelors Degree or higher




3-5 years reporting/analytical experience supporting marketing, CRM, and/or E-commerce based teams




Strong MS Excel and Access skills: Proficiency in data mining and customer analysis tactics; solid background analyzing marketing data




Strong visualization skills; ability to represent information pictorially.




Critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience managing internal & external relationships




Self motivated individual capable of managing own tasks with little direct supervision, able to prioritize and multi task, works well under pressure and tight deadlines



Desired skills:




Understanding of online marketing and accounting systems, subscription product analysis, product retention strategies/tactics, etc.




Experience with OLAP reporting tools such as Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Brio, etc.
