Description
CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team; join CDI today.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Position Description:
Facilitate requirements sessions with subject matter experts to collect business requirements.

Write Business Requirement documents for approval and technical team designers.

Including conducting walkthrough meetings of the produced documents with impacted technical system groups, testing groups, servicing groups and business groups.

Identify any custom forms and reports.
Identify all interfaces to other systems.
Complete mapping for conversions.

Identify system hierarchy and system configuration needed separate from conversion mapping.

Assist during training events for call center and service center.

Report status or issues weekly.

Documentation:
Document security roles
Document new system configuration
Document mappings from old system to new system

Pre-Conversion Data Scrub Process:
Evaluate conversion readiness of data on existing system.
Coordinate completion of database cleanup with service center resources or other projects, as needed.
Manage the timeline of the data scrub process to be in line with the scheduled testing, conversion and live dates.

Data Conversion:
Troubleshoot conversion data testing issues.
Review implementation/conversion timeline.
Work with technology team to create conversion strategy to manage and restore data during the transition period when a carrier will be "down."
Communicate with HBS staff downtime plan, conversion issues and data verification process.

Other:
Review training materials and provide feedback.
Review testing plan and provide feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 40% of time.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Facilitating issue resolution when internal subject matter experts disagree and communicate final decisions based on criteria.

BA/BS with 6 or more years product management and business analysis experience preferably with experience documenting functional requirements for a variety of software applications including writing use cases and business rules.

Preferred Skills:
Understanding of XML and Access.

Vendor management experience a plus.

Experience with conversions from one transactional internet application package to another.

Preferred location Salt Lake City, San Francisco or Minneapolis.

Experience with P&W PowerPlus or Metavante MBI Time a plus.
