Description
PURPOSE:Our client's organization is charged with designing, building, implementing and sustaining an enterprise Global Supply Chain solution based on an SAP technology platform. As a result of changing business processes and supporting information technology, the initiative will improve customer satisfaction and significantly reduce costs. The in-scope application processes include Planning & Scheduling, Source, Order Management, E-Commerce, Manufacturing Processes, Cost & Profitability and Deliver and the supporting technology areas are Cross Applications, Business Warehouse and Data Management.The Deliver Warehouse IT Business Analyst will work in a team environment to recommend and deliver technology to enable defined business processes. This position is responsible for coordinating all SAP specific technical design activities in the area of warehouse management. SAP modules in scope include MM, IM, and WM within R/3 and SAP Portals where used for warehouse transactions. Process areas include Receive and Store, Execute Order, and Manage Warehouse. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with SAP R/3 MM, IM and WM modules, an understanding of SAP portals, and a deep knowledge of OMB operating model design in the Deliver area.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Work cohesively with OMB Deliver Information Technology team, Deliver business team, core working group members from various versions, and consultants to accomplish their assigned tasks of work for functional and technical design efforts within the teams scope Understand, design, build, implement and sustain best practice Global Supply Chain solutions2. Execute proof of concept testing in a cross team environment to validate design assumptions3. Configure SAP and other Operating Model applications to enable defined business processes and complete configuration documentation4. Define and document functional and technical specifications for custom developed applications 5. Perform unit testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution6. Work with other business and IT teams to ensure that Deliver solutions integrate with the rest of the OMB operating model and the delivered design meets the business requirements7. Investigate issues in test and production environments and provide resolution recommendations8. Responsible for production support of applicable OMD applications currently in production until such time that production support transitions to a long term support organizationJOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor¡¦s Degree: consideration given to all including but not limited to Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science and Bachelor of Science* Minimum 3.0 GPA* Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skill.
