Mandatory Experience Requirements:

Business Systems Analyst:

I. Technical Analyst:
. With appropriate supervision, provides technical assistance in design, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software.
. Conducts performance tests and analyses to ensure that software meets end-user and system stability expectations.
. Troubleshoots application issues, and recommend and implement design or code changes to resolve.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Business Systems Analysis Responsibilities:
. Executes tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems in an issue log, and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
. Drafts and revises test plans and scripts.
. Identifies, recommends and implements basic changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.
. Coordinates with users to determine business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.
. Communicate with application users, business owners and other IT and Business teams to extend or define business requirements
. Transform business requirements into technical specs / design documents
. Resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
. Documents requirements and test plans
. Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners
