Job Family Description: Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective. Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.

. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, information systems, systems analysis, computer engineering or related field.

Specific Job Description: Assess requirements submitted by business users and subject matter experts, review business priorities, and analyze options, risks, and costs. Create functional and non-functional system requirements specifications, use cases, UML diagrams and other technical documentation as required. Conduct requirements reviews with the business, development and test teams to ensure common understanding. Assist the development team during design and build activities; represent the interests of the business users during design and prototype reviews. Ensure that system requirements can be easily translated into test plans and test scenarios; work with the test team to confirm that testing results meet the expectations of the business users. Follow, and promote adherence to, the organization's standard project life cycle to ensure delivery of high quality software solutions.
