Contract position at Hourly pay rate: $38/hr for W2 or $41/hr for corp to corp




BASIC FUNCTION:

Software Engineer is able to construct and test modules/programs within an application that may be part of a larger whole. Ability to provide program level estimates and meet predetermined deadlines.

Key technical areas include but are not limited to:

C#, C++, ASP, .Net, SOAP, XML, HTML, UML, Java/EJB, and relational database.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:



Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience: 2-6 years production work experience in one or more of the following areas:

. Application Program Design
. Application Programming

Position Competencies: Must have the ability to work independently, handle multiple moderately complex releases simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently. Must be familiar with general concepts of software design, development, configuration management, testing and implementation. The software engineer II will participate in the creation of program specifications, technical analysis and estimates. Software Engineer is responsible for understanding and adhering to application performance, quality and programming standards.

Intermediate level of programming, debugging and analytical skills with an operational understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
