Smart IT is seeking Information Technology (IT) professionals with experience in Software Development/Programming to perform in the role of .NET (C#) Developer for our client located in Indianapolis, IN.

Position is an 18+ month contract or contract-to-hire. During the contract period, Smart IT employees are eligible to receive insurance coverage, paid holidays and paid time off!
The .NET Developers responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation and testing for a C# web application. This position will also involve troubleshooting, modifying and writing enhancements to the existing application(s).
Responsibilities Include:

- Participating in GUI design and application development.
- Direct interaction with business units.
- Participating in all phases of the Web development life cycle.

Experience

Required:

- 3-5+ years of hands-on development experience in .NET design and development.
- An understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Excellent communication and team skills with the proven ability to multi-task.
- Able to perform detailed troubleshooting/debugging.
- Versatility with regards to changing priorities.
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience in C#.NET, ASP.NET, WEB SERVICES
- Visual Studio.Net (Development Tools)
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Windows 98 / XP / 2000 / 2003 Server.
- Oracle 10g or higher.
- SQL Server 2005.
