Description
Offline Client Reporting Group of IMD IT Division, responsible for delivering applications that enable custom portfolio reporting for both the High-Net-Worth businesses. These solutions help enrich the client experience by providing reports that include in-depth portfolio evaluations and performance comparisons that goes beyond the standard brokerage statement.

Current project involves building a consolidated data repository to house customer portfolio data for "alternative investments" (i.e. hedge funds and private equity). These non-standard investment products carry different key data elements that deviate significantly from the typical product/quantity/price holdings and activity model of equity or fixed income instruments, hence the need to isolate them into a separate "sub-system" where they can be processed, reconciled, reviewed, verified, and stored for desemination to existing and future client reporting applications.

Experience/Skills
Contribute to system design, architecture, data modeling and development of systems using C#, SQL, XML, XSLT, ETL, Web Services

Integrate into team comprised of senior developers, team leaders (both on and off-shore) to collaborate on and refine technical and/or functional architecture and specifications

Comfortable with all aspects of enterprise-class application development, relational database design and development middleware technologies, user-interface architecture, etc.

8+ years developing with Microsoft technologies

5+ years experience with database modeling techniques- ER diagrams, logical/physical model separation, normalizing vs. denormalizing tradeoffs (experience with IBM DB2/UDB a plus)

Extensive experience developing batch and real-time data processing applications

Experience with advanced ETL concepts (Informatica Powercenter experience a plus)
8+ years developing for large-scale, structured, corporate environment

Extensive expierence developing financial industry applications- trading systems, backoffice/frontoffice transacation processing, portfolio accounting systems

Background in Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund (commitment/contract-based instruments) porfolio accounting a plus
