We have an immediate need for a C# and ASP.NET Application Systems Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We have a client here in Charlotte NC that is looking for a candidate that has a skill set with C# and asp.NET with a SQL backend. As a member of this INTERNAL team your primary responsibility will be C# .NET application development for business applications within a specific line of business. Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team lead. Project work requires the ability to execute well across the entire development lifecycle and within each of the application layers; presentation, business logic, and data either as an individual contributor or as a member of a highly focused team. Position participates in all stages of project methodologies and acts as a lead in providing guidance and a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and designs. Provide technical consultation and support in the development for computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic, prepares and oversees preparation of test data, performs testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing, performs and leads the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area and participates in testing of the business continuation plan.

Minimum Qualifications. 4 year technical degree or equivalent work experience in a technical role involving complex problem solving. 5 years experience with C# .Net, Asp.NET, ASP, and SQL Server 2005 . Full lifecycle development experience along with a solid understanding of development and tools within a MS Windows and MS SQL environment. Both Web client and client/service business logic expertise with strong MS SQL Server skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, methodologies, and systems. Detailed-oriented with the ability to drive complicated tasks through to completion with a quality focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills. Experience with CSS, Ajax, Web Services, and Team Foundation Server highly desired. Strong User Interface/Presentation Layer Skills. Experience with SSIS in SQL Server 2005. MCSD Certification. Knowledge of Collections and Loss Mitigation Business functions would be a huge plus.
