We have an immediate need for a CAD Design/Drafter

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will team with Concept Development Engineers on designs and layouts for the construction and testing of experimental models and quality production components using Pro/Engineer. Candidate will contribute in a design capacity, and be responsible for the technical and procedural accuracy of 3D parametric models & drawings for those projects. At times, candidate will be required to perform analysis to meet design specifications, and interpret product purpose and applications. This position will also consult with manufacturing engineers and tooling vendors to produce detailed engineering documentation and/or parametric models that portray all necessary dimensions and attributes required for prototyping & production of quality, economical products.

Candidate should possess Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience including 2 years minimum using Pro/Engineer along with the ability to understand & manage locally stored electronic files and their associations. Additional experience in engineering or product design involving knowledge of manufacturing processes, thermoset and thermoplastic molding design practices, design of metal stamping/forming, and printed circuit board packaging. Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability and sense of urgency to meet deadlines
