We have an immediate need for a CAD Designer - Electrical

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Works with engineering and production departments to develop drawings of electrical systems.
- These drawings may include schematics, point to point wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, cable tabulations, and logic diagrams.
- Must have experience in and understand the functionality of transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, control panels, and programmable logic controllers.
- Should be able to take a task from concept to actual design.
- Utilizes both AutoCAD and Microstation software, working knowledge of Microstation is preferred.
- Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to understand how to develop a drawing with minimal direction.
- Requires Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (2 years experience minimum).
- Previous utility experience a plus.
- Successful candidate must provide own personal protection equipment, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
