Title: Systems Support Level IV (CAE/Linux Administrator)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Ann Arbor-MI

Duties & Responsibilities·

* Perform Daily Enterprise Level Server Maintenance of Linux Operating Systems within a High Performance Computing (HPC) clustered environment.

* Install & Upgrade CAE Applications on servers.

* Install & Upgrade Linux Operating Systems within physical or Logical (e.g. Logical Partitions) server environments

* Apply fixes & maintenance patches and install/maintain compilers & runtime libraries (e.g. C, C++ & Fortran).

* Create and Maintain documentation for Servers, incidents, and their known resolutions as well as common best practices of Enterprise Level Systems.

* Perform daily monitoring & error checks on all servers

* Propose preventative maintenance methods & quickly troubleshoot server problems that may arise.

* Maintain Server/CAE Application Utilization trends (Monthly Reports).

On-Call Support:

Must be willing to provide 24x7 on-call support and respond to alerts & notifications to ensure system Service level agreements are maintained.

* Experience with Linux in a High Perfrormance Computing Environment (HPC)
* Experience with CAE Applications
* Experience with Unix Performance Tuning
* Experience with CAD/CAE & Engineering systems
* Experience with IBM/HP/Sun/SGI Hardware
* Experience with UNIX System Accounting & Reportingdf-tc
